Mountain Cart is a fun, exciting, and safe activity for those who want to experience something different on the mountain together with family or friends. We offer guided tours that begin with a comfortable ride on the ski lift before we set off down the slope after a short briefing. Experience the thrill, the breathtaking views, and maybe even try drifting through the turns on your way back down to the village. You control your speed easily and adjust it to your ability using the two hand brakes on the handlebars (just like a regular bicycle brake). We guarantee a fun and unique experience on the mountain that everyone can join in on.
If you have small children (shorter than 140 cm), they can sit on a parent’s lap during the ride (children riding on a lap must be booked at the same time as the other carts).
During our tours, we strive to have as homogeneous groups as possible, which is why we have divided them into “green tours” and “private tours.”
The Green Tour
During the Green Tour, we take things a bit slower, making it ideal for families with children and those who feel unsure about how fast they want to ride.
The Private Tour
On the Private Tour, it’s just your group and the guide, giving you the opportunity to pick up the pace if desired. If you wish to have a child on your lap during the ride, that decision is up to your group. (The routes may sometimes differ between these tours, so please pay attention to the meeting point details provided upon booking.)
Experience: Mountain Cart (1 ride with a guide, including transport by lift. Lift availability depends on weather and season, which will be specified upon booking). Choose between Green or Private Tour.
Location: Meeting point at VM8:an, next to Kaffebaren (unless otherwise stated).
Duration: Approximately 60–120 minutes in total.
Age limit: Green Tour – 8 years old and at least 140 cm tall to drive alone. (Children younger than 8 years and shorter than 140 cm can sit on a parent’s lap, booked separately).
Personal equipment: Wear weather-appropriate, durable clothing and sturdy shoes. (Gloves and a rain jacket are optional).
Transport: A one-way lift ticket is included.
Other: Helmet and goggles are included.
