Bring your family to an unforgettable winter adventure in the Swedish wilderness with our Snow Quads (ATVs equipped with tracks). During our 2 h “Family Adventure” we have tailor-made our experience to fit the whole family needs, where one adult in the family will drive the machine and other family members either sit in the “passenger seat behind the driver” or in the comfortable sleigh that will be pulled behind the Snow Quad (max 5 passengers in total).

Of course, we will stop by a wonderful campfire and enjoy an outdoor traditional Swedish “fika” adapted to the kids. Driving a Snow Quad is very easy and safe and our guides always explain all the instructions carefully before we leave. Helmets are included to the ones on the Snow Quad and for the adult who drive a set of gloves, warm overall and boots can be borrowed. All you need to drive yourself is a valid driving licence for a car.

Snow Quad Family Adventure with “fika” is an easily accessible adventure for families who want to experience Swedish nature, do something together, drive these cool vehicles, and enjoy a traditional Swedish fika.

Experience: A 2-hour adventure with Snow Quads and sleds, including a stop along the way for an outdoor fika in the Swedish wilderness.

Location: The tour starts outside Hotel Åre Continental Inn.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours plus time for changing clothes.

Age limit: The driver must have a valid B driving license. The passenger sitting behind the driver must be large enough to hold around the driver’s waist. There are no age limits or restrictions for passengers in the sled.

Equipment: The driver must bring a valid driving license. Wear warm clothing, including gloves and warm shoes. Helmets are included for those riding the Snow Quad, and the adult driver can borrow gloves, a warm overall, and boots.

Transport: Not included.

Additional information: The Snow Quads are insured, and the driver is responsible for their own vehicle during the tour. In case of an accident caused by the driver, a deductible of 10,000 SEK applies.

Our evening tours with Snow Quads (ATVs equipped with tracks) are guaranteed to be an adventure beyond the ordinary. We take you out into the night to experience a whole new dimension of nature and the wilderness.

Early in the season, until the end of January, our evening tours take place in complete darkness. However, as the season progresses, the evenings gradually become brighter. One advantage—besides the chance to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights—is that you’ve hopefully already spent your day on other activities, allowing you to make the most of your stay in the village.

Of course, we make a stop for a wilderness fika along the way. Driving a Snow Quad is both easy and safe, and our guides always go through all instructions thoroughly before we set off. Helmets, gloves, overalls, and boots are available to borrow on-site.

Who is Snow Quad Night Ride Adventure in Åre for?

Snow Quad Night Ride is an easy, accessible adventure for guests and groups who like to get the most out of their stay in Åre and use the evening for a great adventure in the Swedish nature.

Experience: 1,5 hour experience with Snow Quads in the evening where we stop along the way for an outdoor Swedish “fika”.

Site: We start the tour outside Hotel Åre Contiental Inn.

Time: Approx 1,5 hours plus time for changing clothes.

Age-limit: The driver of the machine must have a valid driving license for a car and the one sitting behind (passenger) must be large enough to hold on around the waist of the driver.

Your own gear: Driving licence and clothes to wear under the overall. Helmets, a set of gloves, warm overall and warm shoes are included.

Transport: Not included.

Other: The Snow Quads are insured and during the tour the driver is responsible for their own Snow Quad. In case of an accident caused by the driver there is a deductible of 10000 Sek. Note that early in the season this activity will take place in the darkness.
