Med helt miljövänliga och lättkörda “el-skotrar” ger vi oss av på en tur i Åres omgivningar vilket kan vara allt från en tur i fjällmiljö, en mysig tur i byn eller en annorlunda transport från hotellet. Vi startar och avslutar turen efter önskemål. El-skotrarna är lika enkla att framföra som en vanlig cykel och är registrerade som cyklar, vilket gör att de får framföras på väg. Innan vi ger oss av håller guiden en grundlig genomgång och övningskörning så att alla känner sig trygga. Deltagarna utrustas med hjälm och givetvis serverar vi en härlig fika vid något av våra smultronställen längs vägen.

Join us on an adventure to the southern Åre mountains, the land of the reindeer. We’ll take you on a short and cozy snowshoe hike before reaching the reindeer enclosure, where you’ll have the chance to step inside and feed the friendly reindeer with lichen straight from your hand.
Next to the enclosure, we’ll enjoy some refreshments, try our hand at lasso throwing, and sample a traditional Sámi delicacy. In collaboration with local Sámi, we also offer an experience where they join us with the reindeer, sharing fascinating insights into their daily life and the traditions of reindeer herding.

To create your own ice sculpture is a fantastic experience and in Åre you have the chance. We provide you with the crystal clear ice, the tools and an instructor. The only thing you need to do is unleash your inner artist, be creative and create a beautiful piece of art. Ice a vivid and very grateful material to work with and the ice we use is absolutely crystal clear.
One kit contains; a smaller exercise block and a larger block (50 x 30 x 30 cm), tools, reindeer skin (to sit on) and lights to give the artwork different colors. There is always a guide around, to give instructions and to keep a fire burning where we make coffee and hot chocolate.
One ice sculpture kit is suitable for one or maximum two persons to share the ice block and the tools.

Suddenly, you feel a strong tug on the ice fishing rod in your hand, and an intense battle begins between you and the Arctic char that just took the bait. After a brief struggle, you successfully pull the fish up through the hole and quickly drop your lure back down—Arctic char swim in schools, so now is the time to seize the opportunity.
For three hours, we’ll take you out onto the ice of a nearby lake or tarn in the Åre area, fishing in the best winter spots where Arctic char and trout are known to bite. During the trip, we’ll also treat you to some refreshments.
Experience: Guided ice fishing tour on a lake or tarn near Åre, including refreshments and transport by ATV and sled.
Location: Meeting point in Björnen (activity trailer outside Carins Krog).
Duration: 3 hours
Personal equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing and warm shoes.
Transport: Not included (except for transport from the meeting point to the fishing location).
