Vildmarken på baksidan av Åreskutan är något unikt och här upplevs verkligen lugnet, tystnaden och de härliga vyerna på bästa sätt. Vår tur startar i Åre Björnen och ni sitter bekvämt i en stor skotersläde fylld med renskinn vilken är kopplad bakom en ATV utrustad med bandsats. Efter en stund på platt mark börjar vi vår klättring längs en vacker led upp på baksidan av Skutan och när vi nått trädgränsen stannar vi och kliver in i en liten mysig fjällstuga som byggts precis enligt de ritningar som användes vid uppförandena av de många ”stugor/hyddor” som byggdes i regionen under andra världskriget. I dessa hyddor bodde de svenska soldaterna under beredskapstiden och i stugan (som kallas Agellhyddan efter den överste som gjorde ritningarna) gör historiens vingslag sig påtagligt påmint och här stannar vi, gör upp eld, myser, njuter av tystnaden och inmundigar vårt medhavda fika innan vi vänder åter igen.
Join us for the search of northern lights in the areas around Åre. With snowshoes on our feet and in the light of headlamps, we walk into the night and pass through the snow-laden firs and experience a new dimension of the mountains. We make a fire and enjoy a light evening snack under the stars.
We pick you up at your hotel in our minivan and drive away from the light in the village and go to place where we know that it get´s really dark in the night. First we go through basic knowledge of the natural phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis and then the guide has a short tutorial on how to catch the Northern Lights on film in the best way. When we feel ready we walk together out into the night with snowshoes on our feet, searching for the magic Northern Lights.
Åre Northern Light Adventure is an easy accessible adventure for guests and groups who like to increase their chance to see the Aurora Borealis and get more knowledge about the phenomenon.

Join us on a tour up to a snowy Mt. Åreskutan. We take the cable car up the mountain and enjoy flavors, beautiful views and interesting stories around Åre and the locally produced delicacies we taste during the tour. Our local guide take us on an accessible adventure and journey on the mountain where everyone can participate, regardless of physical condition. Some of the taste samples are typical Sami snacks (so be prepared to try something that you probably have never tried before) and you will also visit some place which tourists usually do not have access to. At the top we make a short “taste tour” with snowshoes, which is adapted to weather conditions and group fitness. (N.B! If the cable car for some reason is closed we will organise an alternative experience in either the VM8-lift or the mountain railway- Bergbanan).
The Gastronomic Cable Car Ride is an guided and easy accessible adventure for guests who like to experience some locally produced delicacies and combine this with a ride to the top of Mt Åreskutan in the Åre Cable Car.

Med helt miljövänliga och lättkörda “el-skotrar” ger vi oss av på en tur i Åres omgivningar vilket kan vara allt från en tur i fjällmiljö, en mysig tur i byn eller en annorlunda transport från hotellet. Vi startar och avslutar turen efter önskemål. El-skotrarna är lika enkla att framföra som en vanlig cykel och är registrerade som cyklar, vilket gör att de får framföras på väg. Innan vi ger oss av håller guiden en grundlig genomgång och övningskörning så att alla känner sig trygga. Deltagarna utrustas med hjälm och givetvis serverar vi en härlig fika vid något av våra smultronställen längs vägen.

To create your own ice sculpture is a fantastic experience and in Åre you have the chance. We provide you with the crystal clear ice, the tools and an instructor. The only thing you need to do is unleash your inner artist, be creative and create a beautiful piece of art. Ice a vivid and very grateful material to work with and the ice we use is absolutely crystal clear. One kit contains; a smaller exercise block and a larger block (50 x 30 x 30 cm), tools, reindeer skin (to sit on) and lights to give the artwork different colors. There is always a guide around, to give instructions and to keep a fire burning where we make coffee and hot chocolate. One ice sculpture kit is suitable for one or maximum two persons to share the ice block and the tools.
