In the central of Åre you can find the good old “Kälkspåret”, which meanders from Fjällgården along Bergbanan down to Åre. Here we offer, several evenings a week, the opportunity to “drop in” with friends and family and go a number of times on our different fun carriages in the 800-meter track. The carriages that are available are: Zibobs, Scorpioracers and sleds. This activity is a “drop in” activity that has a limited amount of tickets.
For the smoothest and fastest handling at pickup of carriages, we recommend pre-booking online via our website. If there is a large number of guests, we will make sure that the pre-booked guests gets a zibob/scorpionracer/sled first. For other guests it is the term “first come first served” that’s available and tickets can be purchased at the start (Bergbanan endstation) or at Fjällgården.
We are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 18:00-20:00 week 52 – week 10 and Saturdays 18.00-20.00 from week 11 as long as there is enough snow.
Kälkspåret Race Park is an easy accessible adventure for guests in Åre who like to have fun in the snow together with family or friends.

Around 5 years to ride your own sled (under supervision of any adult). Age limit can be changed depending of snow conditions. For safety reasons we do not recommend to sit two persons in one sled.

Bring your own helmet, ski goggles and if you like, something to protect your face from snow spraying.

Our wintersled adventure starts in Åre Björnen where we sit down on warm reindeer furs in our comfortable big sled thats linked behind an ATV (all-terrain vehicle). After leaving Åre Björnen the trip goes through a wonderful landscape with fantasic veiws on the backside of mount Åreskutan and soon we reach our goal, a really nice and cozy hut high up on the mountain side. Here we will be all alone in the wilderness and the only “sound” to listen to is the silence. In the hut we will have time to relax, light a fire and have a break for coffee and snacks and if there is kids on the trip they will have the chance to go sledding in the slopes around the hut. If you like, we can also arrange lunch in the hut.
The ATV Wintersled adventure is an easy accessible adventure for guests in Åre who like to come out in the wilderness and get a feeling of being alone on the mountain. This is a good and safe alternative to snowmobiling and snowscooter where you easily can bring the family and friends for an unforgettable adventure in the wilderness.

Join us on a gastronomic snowshoetrip through stunning winter landscapes and in a climate where the tastes and smells will be experienced in a new and unique way. During our walk, we stop at three different places where we at each break have a theme, and it is offered various local delicacies such as locally produced soup, locally produced bread, locally produced cheese and locally produced “glögg” (spiced red wine) and chocolate. The delicacies that are offered during the walk varies somewhat during the season, but what they all got in common is that our guides always tell an interesting story about both the products as well as local producers who makes them.
Our tour starts and ends at Copperhill Mountainlodge and is approximately 1.5 km long.

OBS! Sedan 2019 gäller nya regler för all vistelse kring Blanktjärn, vilka återfinns på länsstyrelsens hemsida. Då rådande restriktioner omöjliggör SUP-paddling på Blanktjärn, ger vi gärna tips på andra lämpliga vattendrag i Åres närhet när ni hyr en SUP av oss. Kontakta oss här för olika tips.
SUP på Blanktjärn i Åre är en unik upplevelse som går utöver det vanliga där man får uppleva Blanktjärn med sitt unika turkosa vatten och med ett siktdjup på flera meter på ett helt nytt sätt. Känslan av att sväva fram på en Stand Up paddleboard mitt i fjällvärlden är något alldeles extra och aktivitetsföretaget Explore Åre hyr ut Stand Up paddleboards och erbjuder ett paket med “Blanktjärn SUP Rental Kit” där ni får med allt som behövs för att uppleva detta på egen hand. I paketet ingår förutom den uppblåsbara brädan även ryggsäck, pump, paddel, våtdräkt, trangiakök och en vandringskarta som beskriver turen.
För dig som önskar en bekvämare upplevelse med SUP och inte vill vandra själv erbjuder Explore Åre även guidade turer med Stand Up paddleboard i och omkring Åre, då främst nedströms paddling i svagt strömmande vatten och i fantastisk natur.
Hyr våtdräkt i Åre och ge er ut på ett eget äventyr eller delta i multisportstävlingar i eller på något av alla vattendrag som finns i området. Våtdräkterna funkar till kajak, SUP eller andra vattenaktiviteter och är tillverkade i neopren och har tjocklek 4/3 (passar bra från vattentemperaturer från 8-10 grader). Vi har modeller för dam (S,M,L och herr (M,L,XL). Passande våtskor finns också att hyra.
